I've seen landscapers abuse the hell out of the BR600 and they keep on running, they may not have the biggest volume, but the do the job day after day.

I have 2 BR 600's, and they are great blowers so far. I don't know if they're the most powerful available, but I know they are lightweight enough to carry around for hours and really pack a punch. I got one for me to use & one for the other half to use & she's small framed but has never complained about the weight. We typically spend at least 4hrs per day moving leaves in the fall, nothing but trees around the house!

Question on the BR600.... I saw a comment earlier, about using the Stihl Ultra mix....

Is this a MUST, the Ultra, with the new 4-Mix motors??? Or would the Klotz oil be just fine too???

They do run better with the Ultra oil. The synthetic doesnt seem to let carbon build up.
The new BR600 Magnum coming out runs well on any oil.

The 600 is an awesome lightweight blower

I just bought a new BR600 and love it. Very comfortable and light weight. Also has great full-range throttle response and good fuel economy. The manual says the valves need adjusting after 139 hours use. I would look at the new BR600 Magnum, along with the Shindy 802RT, which weighs only 1.5 lbs more and has a 79cc 2 cycle engine.

Love mine. As long as it is reliable, can't see how you can go wrong with a good strong backpack blower. Husky, Echo, Shindy, Redmax all seem to have their followings and for good reason. Not sure you can go wrong, other than to get a blower that doesn't move the volume of air you may need. If price is not the main driver, I'd err on the side of a more powerful blower rather than always wish you had gotten the next larger size. It is a mid-to long-term investment if you don't use it commercially. My buddy has the BR 500 and loves it but it does not move the leaves and debris with the authority of my BR 600. Nonetheless, he uses his commercially with no complaints. Best of luck!

Get the BR600 because Husqvarna does not make a blower comparable to the Stihl in my opinion. I have had my BR600 since they first came out I think 2 years ago with no problems except they had to replace the coil under warranty. I am very satisfied with it and it was the most powerful blower you could buy when I bought mine. The Redmax was a close second in power. You can't go wrong with the Stihl but as someone has probably said it is all about dealer support.
