    Another comparison question?

As before mentioned I am in the market for a mid-range semi pro saw. Just found the Husky 359 as recommended by someone in my earlier post. I see it is a mag frame saw. Husky does not list it as a pro saw though. Why not?

It is just marketing. That saw is EXACTLY the same as the 357xp minus the crankcase stuffers, a smaller top end with different porting, and the XP sticker.

IMy guess is that the 359 isn't considered a pro saw because the cylinder isn't mfg by mahle and isn't ported the same as the other xp saws.
The crankcase stuffers that b200 is referring to just "fill in" the crankcase a little to minimize the volume in the crankcase. These stuffers and smaller, more agressively ported cylinder give the 357xp more power. They do not affect durability.
The good things about the 359 are that it shares most of it's parts with the 357xp and it still has a closed ported cylinder. Its advantage over most of the ranch type saws is the mag crankcase and the bolt on cylinder.
