    Stihl 210 losing oil

Been fighting this issue for a while and it's getting irritating now.
A COLD (well below freezing) day, late last winter, I was doing some work with my Stihl. When I finished up, I slacked of the chain tensioners, filled it up with fuel and bar oil, and put her away.
Ended up not using it for a couple months, and when I went to use it again, noticed it sitting in a big puddle of bar oil. I suppose it was full, even a little over filled, and when it wormed up, and the oil "expanded", it blew out a seal or something, and now she won't hold oil at all.
It's fine to run the saw, cutting wood, but whenever I'm done, I have to open it up and pour the remaining bar oil out, or it all ends up on the bench or in the case and the tank empty the next time I go to use it.
Is there a common seal or fitting that could have blown out, that I could clean/rebuild/replace?

    Thanks in advance!

Remove the muffler and check behind. There is a passage drilled there during mfr.And then plugged. This plug commonly comes out. Coat a hex head set screw with red loctite and use to plug. This should fix your problem.

It is also possible that the oil line has pulled loose at the grommet on the underside. I've seen that happen to these saws, and some of the others with a similar case design. You should be able to slip it right back in. Happy Sawing!

Did I hear you say "STIHL" ? Sounds like music to my ears!
