From your sig its hard to tell what brand you favor. LOL! Nothing wrong with a little of each.

I never operated a saw with a bow bar but may also pick up one of them sometime to fit one of my saws, guess they like a slow torquey saw, gots lots of them.

Jerry I know you like your 306's, just imagine them with 15 more cc. You would really like one of these.

you did a fine job just cleaning it up if nothing else.

how many operable bowsaws is that for you now?

This is only the 2nd bow I have, the other is on a Poulan 361. I probably don't need anymore, but then again when did need mean anything?

I have been looking for one of them. Yes having enough power
makes a difference with a bow bar. The clearing bars don't need has
power as do the bucking bows.
Yes Cliff I had been looking for a complete setup for some time. Unless I decide I need one for one of the 306's, (I doubt) and I find another, I'll let you know.

The 245's has the nuts to do a good job with one.

Lee, I have not had time to really tune this one in since I put a different carb on it about a week ago. It seems a little rich yet. It clears up under a pull but takes a bit long to do so.

This one had the wrong carb on it when I got it and it never would idle the way it should. I just got around to putting the correct HS 59A on it and it idles and runs perfect now. Just might be a hair rich.
