I found brad's thread about his muffler mod and have finally been inspired to do the same but I'm having trouble find a source for the deflector mentioned in the thread 5035899-01 and screen 5034056-01

anyone know of an online source for these parts, the link brad posted for baileys is dead or they ran out because you guys snapped them all up before I could get my hands on one

thanks

just call baileys and ask for grand dog he seems to be very helpful.

I originally ordered mine from Bailey's, but at that time they were back-ordered. I then found them at Milaca Lawn and Garden in Milaca, MN. I also have some waiting for me at a Husky dealer about 70 miles away.

If baileys is back ordered check with jackssmallengines.com. They seem to have them in stock all the time.

You really don't need it, just remove the factory screen, enlarge the hole through the slot with a Dremel, reinstall the screen, and you are done. More than enough area for a saw that size. Looks stock, sounds "badass"

I believe I discarded mine as well. You almost have be a contortionism to mount gasket, deflector, muff and bolts at the same time. Lol

:agree2:
This is what I did with mine too, even with a port job.

I picked up a new saw today, and was unfortunate enough to loose that screen right away......:givebeer:

Congrats on your new saw!

Have you worked with it yet?

What do you think of the front handle compared to your 346??

+1, super easy with a dremel and no parts. Only downside is you cant measure the exact area. Not that big of a deal though as I recall Brad opens his the entire area of the deflector he puts on. Both methods are real clean looking and easy.

Just make it look kind of like this. :D

Thanks, but it will be a while before I do that - just too much snow here! :censored:

No surprices so far, and (as expected) easy to see why they weight a tad more than the corresponding Husky on paper, longer handlebar and more "boxy" covers.

It sure is a beauty though!:clap:

Pics will come when I get to the cottage, and can cut some!

In the mean-time, I would think there are more than enough pics of those saws on here.

Btw, this is a genuine WH, and not a CWH converted to a WH. :)
