Picked up an old Sears saw

This saw was advertised on the local CL and looked good enough to warrant a 30 minute drive to check it out. The owner apparently bought out a closed small engine shop and has been selling them a little at a time. Told me he pitched all the plastic case saws but kept the metal ones. In addition to the Sears, he also had 2 Wright saws there (models B520 and GS2520).

Mike Acres site is down, but it appears this is a Roper saw of between 70 and 80 cc's. Has a decomp on it and you need it to get it to crank over. It is sporting a 21" bar and a good chain.

If I have time tomorrow afternoon, I think I will see if I can get it to crank.

That looks alot like the D-44 that I had here with the Power Products engine in it.

There is a guy near me here with a new in the box power sharp sears like that one. He wants $200 for it, and I'm trying to decide if its worth that much and if I really want it or not.

If you don't expect too much from me,
You might not be let down.

You are correct, the tag under the air cleaner reads D-44. Do you know how many cc's it is?

Also, what would be the value of the Wright saws? I think one is missing the blade.

The pictures I posted before were from the CL ad. Here are some I took today. This saw appears to be clean, any interest before I put it in the Trading Post?
