    Yes, but the 16" bar they referred to is the solid body Power Match, not the laminated Pro-Lite.

    Exactly. That's what I meant. BTW, I ordered yesterday, they said should be to me by tomorrow, so I hope to post picks of the bar and report back with how it feels in the wood also.

    Thanks man! Pro-Lite are the bars I'm lookin at. 16" for the 346 and 18" for the 357, was thinking 20, but I already have a good 20", though not a light weight.

    What do you think about running .325 chain on a 357? I'm thinking 3/8" would be better but I don't know. The 346 is staying with .325, it works too good to change

    .325 LP/LPX or RSC may be faster on the 357xp, with an 8-pin rim - but what is better depends on some other factors as well. Small differences in cutting speed doesn't mean much in practical use.

    Aw shucks, I'm just gonna slaper on my my brand new
    372xpw and let her eat! Hell, if I really like it ill put it on my brand new 395xp and really give her a spin. At any rate should make for some pretty pictures tomorrow.

    I was told this will be a very good bar and holds up better than the Oregon RWs. He didn't know if they would fit Stihl but I'm going to say no, since the mounts are different. Looks like a good alternative for the husky guys...

    Maybe this will make Stihl produce us some type of RW bar.

    I agree TOTALLY! STIHL really needs to step up to the plate on this one. Heck, bad enough they don't even use mahale p/c anymore. Ya know?

    I might give the 28" a try depending what the one hillbillys getting looks like. It would be nice to have more options than just the oregons.

    I've seen shotty Mahles, everyone makes one now and then. Stihl bars can't be beat for durability, just wish they made a RW version.

    True dat brother true dat. But I honestly can't help but think its a step in the wrong direction for stihl to get away from mahale.
