Good saw, 68cc if I remember right. Price sounds ok if it's in good shape.
I'm sure Sawtroll will be here soon to tell us all about them.

    670

the tag with the serial number will tell you for sur if it is still on the saw. i know the saw is older than 3 years old tho. Jonsered quit making the 670 around the early to mid 1990s. they are a very good saw. i sold alot of them over the years..had great luck with them

67cc, and a lot more than 3 years old, even 13 would be optimistic!

Could be anything from close to 29 to about 15.

Very good saw anyway in its "prime-time" though, that was before and around 1990!

Better yet maybe he only used it for three seasons! Think of it as almost a 272...just prettier and a little less power.

As I read the picture, a "Super" or "Champ" is a very good saw (1987 and on), the older ones isn't quite the same, but still good saws.

The World Championchip in chainsaw use was won tree times in a row with the 670, 1987, 1989 and 1991 - that is why some 670s were labelled "Champ", probably starting a bit after the 1987 competition - it is just another name on the "Super"..

The West Coast model is a Super with a full wrap bar. Still even the original 670 would be worth $150 IF its in great shape.

Sure, that info is correct, as far as I know - the WC ones were based on the Super and Champ ones, unless some were made before 1987 (never saw any evidence of that).....

The 670 west coast on acres site is a 1986 model and not a super. I know this because I used to own the saw and it was NOS. I know SawTroll says the 670 came out in 82/83, but I have never seen proof of one made before 1986 (either in person or in sales lit), but that may just be in North America. The Champ or SuperII are the best in my opinion, which both have the newer style ignition. And all 670's are 66.8cc.

Actually, it would be closer to a 268xp.

other than displacement, the 268 and 272 are for the most part very similar ( I think there may be intake differences though....)

Mine has the two piece coil, did the original Supers have a two piece?

She is definitely a runner for 67cc, right there with my 272
