    partner's p70 and 7000

    can anybody tell me the difference between the partner p70 and the partner 7000plus and how they would match up against a 044 or 2171\372?

    The P7700 Plus had a healthy power gain over earlier 70cc Partners (according to specs), but still not really close to the 044, and even further from the 372xp/2171.
    Firewood saws: Jonsereds Raket 621 (1970), Husky 353G (2003), Euro Stihl MS361W (2004), Husky 372xpg (nov 2006), Husky 339xp (may 2007), Husky 346xpg New Edition (sept 2007), Jonsered 2153WH (april 2010), Husky 560xpg (nov 2011).

    Witchys saw, Dolmar PS5100SH (also may 2007). Rest in peace, my love!

    thanks for your input. I'm kinda getting into the partners lately. so what your saying i shouldn't ditch my 2171 for a p70? ha ha

    Its a geat ole saw. I like it. Hard to compare old saws to new ones, I like to compare saws from the same era.
