    Craftsman/Poulan made from a 42cc antivibe engine, a 40cc chassis and two 2150's for misc.

    I have since removed all of the non english starting instructions and the model # information......................................It felt good.

    It needs a forest green clutch cover to replace the gray one to look 'nice'.
    Rem. Super 75A, Pro 88, PL-7A, Wards/Rem. 660, Poulan 655 (the big dog)
    And, forty other running/project saws of all discriptions

    In my book, if you put a piece of plastic from another saw, it doesn`t make it a Frankensaw.
    You need to alter the core signifficantly and to increase the power or/and handling etc.
    Otherwise is the same Mary with a different hat.

    I seem to build a lot of saws out of just a box of parts or a few parts saws. My last 460 had about 5 parts saws as contributors.

    I've seen 460 tanks on 440's.

    I have a franken trimmer, I put a FS90R motor on a FS80 shaft. Got pretty luck with that.

    I want to do a really nasty looking 2171/372 frankensaw to the nines.

    It runs the same. i just took the handle off to strip the green paint off that was peeling. now its just a nice silver full wrap handle.

    Ive got a factory Frakensaw, I guess! Basicly a Partner P 5000/ 500 Bottom, With a Husky 55 top end, and A Zama Carb (late Husky 55). Then a futuric looking recoil: Now you got the Partner P543 !

    BTW: Also seen the P 543, with a carb that needed the special Husky tool, to adjust!

    My Frankensaw is (or will be) a Husky 371K chainsaw with a 372xp clutch cover, 365 starter cover, and the K handle for now. But I'm not very far along as of now. Having trouble with the chain break assembly and oiler.

    I've got this old junk that I built from a parts bin.
    I wanted to try my hand at porting and didn't have the nerve to try on a good saw, so I built this one from spare parts.
    It's no race saw but it runs out pretty good for an old Poulan junk!
