    Eager Beaver gas ratio mix?

    MY nephew was kind enough to bring me a saw to get running that belongs to his friend,found recoil rope was bound inside (fixed)got it running so-so, hafta replace gas line,pick up screen was laying in tank,need to know what the gas ratio is for it,can i just use 50-1 and adjust carb according??thanx...

    40:1 with a quality oil such as Stihl Ultra or Quaker State.

    Thanx for reply,ive searched on here and did find 1 thread said 40 to1 using mac oil or 20 to1 using standard SAE oil??

    That is correct, 40:1 with a good quality two-stroke (no outboard) oil, or 20:1 with an non-detergent SAE motor oil.
