    Which channel and when? I'm on the right coast and ESPN and ESPN 2 are showing NASCAR, baseball and X Games. I can't find anything on Timbersports.

    You'd think since espn hired announcers to cover these events that maybe one of them would take 2 seconds to say which exact stihl stock saw they use for the stock saw competition. Or with the dozens of useless graphics that pop up during the event, maybe i'm being unreasonable. I guess it wouldn't make good buisness to indicate which exact saws were being used for an event supposedly used to promote specific products? Frankly, due to this fact alone i can't enjoy these events. It's just disrespectful to the viewer and rediculous.

    I found it. ESPN U. Unfortunately, Comcast TV does not carry that channel so I can't watch it. I went to the Mid Atlantic meet that is showing in 17 minutes. I had a great time. Watch Cogar on the underhanded chop about 2/3 the way through the event. He just destroys the competition.

    You would think they would do something other than say "stihl" ever 5 seconds.

    I have watched quite a few of those shows. I'm pretty sure the saws they run in the stock class are Stihl MS660's. Identically prepared & tuned, to make the competition fair. At least thats what I recall hearing on there.

    Well, that's what i assumed also. I just think it's sad that they hire a couple of chuckleheads to call the events, yet they don't mention MS660. I have a theory on why they leave that it's an MS660 out. Because joe homeowner would see the competition, google MS660, find out the price, then go buy a craftsman saw. They probably count on someone seeing the timed events, buying an ms 250 or something, and thinking they have the same saw.
