Can the ex and intake be widened to 70% or should it be less on the xt model and the muffler 80% or more already have an unlimited coil just not sure how wide to port it thanks.

AFAIK there has been very limited experimentation in porting a 372 xp xt and at least one of the few experiments had fairly devastating results
Saws: Husky 346xpg NE, 550 xpg, 372xp, 576xp, 3120xp; Jonsered 670, Stihl MS 211, Stihl 064 [project] (coil/ignition needed)
Other 2stroke OPE: Stihl FS 450, Stihl Km-90 (string trimmer, paddle broom, pole saw, hedge trimmer), Stihl TS 420 (cut quick), Stihl BG 85, Echo SRM 230, Redmax EBZ 7500, Husky 325HS75X
i read about the failed one and the one mweba done he said he just done a standard woods port wasnt sure how wide that meant also if the cylinder is the same size as the old 372 i cant see why you couldnt port the same width as long as the port had the right shape?
The intake port is going to be limited to how wide you can go by the skirt width. Exhaust probably needs to be under 65% to be safe.
I would NOT go 70% on the exhaust port width. You'll also want to look very closely at the floor of the exhaust port. It is flat. Fortunately theres enough skirt length that you can lower the center of it and reshape it appropriately.

Have a 201T that doesn't run like you expected? Need a new one that's already modded and ready to go? PM me for details.
would the squish be good at .020"
would the shape be like a smashed funnel.
