Howdy everyone, another newb here. Great site thanks to all who make it available. I've been running a 260 pro for about 7 years and have been very happy with that saw, especially after I did the muffler mod which really livened her up. But I've been dealing with a lot of big oaks and their stumps, so I just bought a lightly used MS460 in the quest for more power without strapping on a boat anchor. I really like the saw, but after cutting a few oaks with it, I was hoping it would deliver a bit more power than it actually does. I opened up the muffler exhaust port (it's a stock single port muffler) a bit (as suggested on this site), but left the baffle alone. Seemed to help some, but still not there IMO. I've seen these aftermarket high flow air filters for sale, will they help? Hoping to avoid major port work etc, I just want to get the most out of my saw with bolt ons and maybe a little carb tuning. Any knowledgeable advice appreciated, thanks.
