Does a Mac 450 have an inboard clutch? if so, it there a nut holding the rim/clutch on or a clip. I am considering looking at one tomorrow for use with my lewis winch.

Its an outboard clutch, with a nut to hold it on. They are a taper fit, most with a keyway, but some with left hand threads.
ok, thanks. I am looking for an inboard clutch saw.
$150 seems like it could be a good price for a running 450.

At 91 cc's the 450 has some guts. As Brian as noted, it is an inboard clutch that is fastened with a nut.
In my experience all have a key way in the flywheel and clutch. I cannot remember if the 450's are LH or RH thread.

Heck buy her and clean her up and one of Mac Addicts would scoop up a old girl in minutes.
