My first Husky And Its First Day Out...

I picked up the 390 earlier in the week, pretty eager to give it a workout i headed out yesterday, I saw a post on here that stated "if ya don't have pics, it didn't happen" so i took the camera, but forgot to charge the battery, would not normally be a problem, 12MP Nokia N8, but that's in for warranty repairs, so the best i could do is take a few snaps with the loan phone the shop gave me, i could have drawn the pictures better...

This was its first feed, not sure what species, but it was as hard as an 18 year old on Viagra, but it ate it up alright, just needed it out of the way to get to the first victim...

The Victim... A nice dead stander to drop down the hill, again pics don't do any justice, but its pretty rough terrain.

All went well, A nice bit of wood, yep there is a 460 in the background, still couldn't bring my self to head out Stihl-less...

All in all i'm impressed with the saw, it is a little down on power compared to the 660 but its a little down on weight and cubes too, its easier to start than the 660 but then its 2 years newer, It didn't kick my but after a few hours cutting. I like this saw and when the 460 turns 2 i am going to buy it a 372 for its birthday.

Congrats on the nice Husky. When you get that 372 you can go ahead and forget about all those Stihl saws!
All kidding aside it sounds like you got a great lineup of saws. Thanks for sharing.

haha, yeah, well maybe and maybe not, my old man, bushman for many years gave it a passing glance without comment, but he is one of them old dudes that wore stihl underpants and poured stihl bar oil on his cornflakes for breakfast, but i'm happy with my purchase, more happy than my long time stihl dealer was when i dropped it on their bench brand new and asked if they could knock me up a couple of skip chains for it, oh and "no they couldn't" because they don't keep any 0.58 on the rolls there, funnily enough nor do the husky dealer...but that aside there is a guy on here riverland i think, i'm gonna look him up and grab a bit of kit for her...
