I forgot to mention it's a 25" bar with 3/8 RSC chain

Close, the 036 sounds a little more angry.

The 036 is a hair faster by my stopwatch.

what kind of wood is that? Ive personally found my 036 starts to bog when buried with anything larger than about a 22" bar. The 25", while it will work, slows my 036 down considerably because of strain.

It did until Stumpy took a grinder to the 036 it is a whole new animal now

I was wanderin how they would stack up. I'm glad we did this. I figured they would be pretty much dead even. Didn't expect the 036 to be faster, was hopein, but didn't expect it.

I believe that was an Elm chunk if I remember correctly... I ran the 036... It's stout! A great addition to Spencer's wood cutting stable... :msp_wink:

I saw some darn good operators up there and you and loggin 22 are right up there with the best I've seen Matt. Man could learn a lot from you guys.

Too bad the 036 has that crappy air filter. Be nice to have a HD filter setup on one.

A Hd setup would be great I dont know what the official weight difference is but its enough that the 044 is going to see alot more shelf time now

I am counting my pennys now for plans on a 066 it might even be done by March:msp_biggrin: If I dont have to sell the 044 off to support that project it will be next in line.
