What's not to like? Can be ported to equal or better performance, holds more fluids, better AV, better filtration, more RPMs....

Have a 201T that doesn't run like you expected? Need a new one that's already modded and ready to go? PM me for details.

Going from the Stihl 660 to the Husky or Jonsered, the 390 is a nicer saw to operate, but a bit more of a headache to maintain. Mostly minor things that need fixing. Its the one complaint from fallers running Husky's here. They walk off the hillside more often, but then it is worth it if you can't stand the vibes of the Stihl. Some fallers go down to the ported MS460 after running Husky a few years after Stihl. Then others just put up with the breakdowns since they prefer the smoothness. I myself prefer running the Husky, but if I was renting out saws, it would be the Stihl. I think you will be happy with the 390, but will find it a little more finicky to maintain than the Stihl.

I've found the same thing with Huskys Dave. I've pretty much gotten around it with my evening maintnance routine, and just replacing odds and ends before they need it. So far so good. Does seem like with the great AF and better clutches, I spend less money replacing the big ticket items vs. my Stihls. Seem to come out a little more ahead on the Huskys over, say a year's time.

Thanks for the replies all. Got the 66 dolled up and on C-List, soon as it's out the door I'll put in my order at the shop.

Good deal, look forward to meeting you and everyone else. I'm just going to buy one shortly, should be to where I'll be needing 90cc's daily by then.

    Edit: I meant almost 90cc's.....Details.....

If you think you need 90cc, you really want to go up to 6 cubes.

    A quote from 2dogs

"I firmly believe in the philosophy that safety is the number one priority in the woods. Having said that I feel that safety starts with the proper mindset and is followed closely, very closely, by the proper skillset. I think there is a tendency to offset poor skills by buying more safety gear."
"Amateurs should stay away from big saws in big wood."
