I would run 16-18" .325 it will cut better with the smaller chain.
Well... this will be the second night the Stihl has spent in the Husqvarna case, so far they've played nicely... The matching Husqvarna Power-Box that's under the Super holds my muffler modded Echo CS-400, kinda funny, two Husky cases, with no Husky's in them...

I spent 2 1/2 hours this afternoon running my Husky 181 SE (32" bar), brought down a huge oak at a friend's farm, and cut that up. Any thoughts of the 028 Super being heavy have been greatly displaced by the monster that I ran today, going to sleep like a baby tonight...
    Echo CS370 (My Son's saw)
    Husqvarna 346XPG (Go-To saw)
Husqvarna 351 (In pieces, Project saw )
Husqvarna 350 (My other Son's saw)
Stihl 036 (the other "Go-To saw)
Husqvarna 394XP (When nothing else fits...)
Stihl MS260 Pro (Something new to me to try - have to put it up against my 346XP)

Like what has been said many many times here on AS
Once you run a modified saw you'll never go back to a stock chain saw ever again !

    Some people need thick skin

Those that declare that they (029/290) won't hold up bc of the lack of pro design
are merely ill-informed or are ignorant.

It doen't look good to anyone else I guess, except maybe for a few "brand fans".
