    Weekend work

I was busy Saturday, I had a parking lot cleanup in the A.M. then I had a dead Oak to take down at one of my landscaping accounts. Tree was dead and leaning towards the house. Wasn't that big, about 40' and the diameter of a good size telephone pole. I climbed the ladder and roped it off and my buddy Deano notched it and dropped it. Just a light tug and it went right between the house and swing set. Probably would have fallen on it own just fine. Deano had to get back to the mill so I stayed and limbed it and bucked it. I didn't need my bigger Poulans so I brought my other 2 saw plan, My Dolmar PS 540 and 410. I had it cut in 15 min. I loaded most of it and left the brush in the woods. I then met my buddy at one of his cleanups. While giving him a hand I found a transmission in the woods behind the house we were working at, I grabbed it as it has descent scrap value. And finally I found a brass fireplace set on the side of the road. I drive my wife crazy.

I used to do the landscape thing. I'd love to pick up a few accounts on the side just to make extra cash. Working outside is more rewarding for me than the RN thing, as is working for yourself!!
