they are both .404 I ran the 090 a little more tonight the rev limiter (controled choke) really slows the saw down. i think its time to open it up a little bit. i hope to bury that 4 footer this weekend and see how it pulls it.

I surely didnt need it either. I have been looking for a cheap 088/084/880 for a while now (yeah i know fat chance) i never would have thought a 090 would be on my bench. pulling the base gasket tonight

So the 090 started out with 70 thousandths squish and 145 PSI. we pulled the base gasket and got it down to 50 thousandths LOL........ now its making 165 PSI. not a bad little gain. we also messed with the gov a little bit trying to get a few more RPM its pulling about 9200 out of the cut i will see what it does in the cut this weekend with the 4 footer buried......
