Stihl 026 tank AV mount hole

I bought a spares/repairs 026 which is now back together and running well.

I noticed when I took the tank off without completely draining it that fuel leaked out when I unscrewed the lower rear AV mount that screws into the tank.

I guess the hole in the plastic used to be blind (so the tank was sealed) but guess the previous owner has screwed the longer upper AV mount screw into it at some time and burst through into the tank.

At the moment, it seals up ok and doesn't leak - I guess the AV mount itself is acting as the seal.

    Two questions:

    - is this ok to leave?
    - anyone come across this before and know how to repair the punctured hole in the tank without mucking up the threaded hole?

Just put it together. I doubt it'll leak.

Have a 201T that doesn't run like you expected? Need a new one that's already modded and ready to go? PM me for details.

I've got dirkoHT - do you reckon that'd do it?

Gotta make sure I can get the screw out in the future too.
