Husky's are starting to get under my skin!!

Built a nice 365 special into a 372 for a guy last week... saw ripped! While I was at the dealer the other day (first time there) I asked about any parts saws and low and behold...BAM!! This run down pile of oil and sawdust. Probably the most mistreated saw ever! Absolutely filthy, previous owner was told it had a scored piston, bought a new saw wouldn't you know. It really wanted to come home with me...... and it did, along with several others including a nice 262. Yes, it's a solid cake of ---- on the clutch.

Absolutely filthy under the muffler and ....wow, a nice shiny new looking piston Compression was 25psi, yes...25psi.

    Picture of the piston

And the reason it was 25psi

Should clean up nicely, little elbow grease and some lovin'

Should be a nice runner, I'm starting to like these things!

MADRONE... I'm blaming you for this!

You'll have that.....then you'll think maybe the creamsickles are better again, sell all your huskys.....then about a year later you'll get to thinking the other way around.....and on and on.......I bet it really ####s with you guys that have dolmar dealers in the mix as well.

Nice 262 project, those are good little saws.
-Not out of the woods yet-

    It's fun, it's real.......but it ain't real fun

I ran into a black top Husky 66 today. It belongs to my boss and looking through the exhaust I can see a gouge in the piston. I don't know what caused it but I think the saw is in excellent condition besides P/C. I hope I can talk him out of it.

Finished the saw today, put a BB kit on it and gave it a little cleaning. Fired on the third pull with a little prime and a quick video of it. Oils good and runs great!!

Since getting this saw I've picked up a couple more... like this 262XP (yes, that's two 262's in under a week). Gave her a little prime after checking it out and BAM, a runner!!

There growing on my I think
