So since you refuse to back down, are you still insisting on the existence of the elusive 027 ??????????

    I have the 1994 catalog..and there is no listing for a 027...it goes from 026 to 029.
    (you said.."mid '90s")

It will be interesting what the dealer or factory tells you....NOT trying to 'pile on'....facts will tell..!!
(also Acre's site doesn't show it...but they do skip/miss models)

Do you mind if I call you a smart ARSE? Ass never sounds quite the same with an English accent, and I'd never say ass anyway.

I guess my previous post with picture is lost in the bowels of the site somewhere. (Any suggestions as to what happened?)

For those who have been waiting to see the coveted (ha!) 037, here she is!

Growing up in a somewhat kosher environment, I always heard "wisenheim". I'm guessing that ranks closer to smarty pants.

The Stihl 027,033 037 and the 049-3/4 saws are pretty rare. I'm not a poussie, Stihl never made an 027, or any of the others I smart assed listed, but as you said they did produce the MS270. I found one for sale here, but they to can't tell the difference between a 1 and a 7

Here's some more info on the rare 027.
Ever heard of a Stihl 027???

Yes, the 027 was a real flop globally........

In North America, the only dist. that handled it was NorthwesternSasquatchSaws. In Asia it was HimilayayetiEquipment......

    The dist. in Bermuda disappeared........
