The new 372XT responds very well to port work.

Used saws here are rare and usually pretty much junk if they're for sale. Will be looking here when the classifieds are back up and running. My 362 is in really good shape still so should get good coin for it when it sells locally. Who is the king of porting stratosaws?

I can see where this "my saw is faster than your saw" thing is headed. You just might as well get an MS880 and be done with it. Then you can settle that peeing match and get back to cutting wood with your 362 which is a pretty good size for what you're doing.

Of course then your buddy will look up Cahoon and get one of his DC Hotsaws and it all starts over again.
Locust Cutter and RAMROD48 like this.
Stihl 018C, Stihl 019T, Stihl 026 x 2, Stihl 028 Super, Stihl MS660, Stihl 070, Husky 455, Husky 55, Jonsered 2172, Mac 10-10A left and right start, Poulan truck saw, 12v DC powered chainsaw, Stihl HT101 pole saw.

The point was that felling, limbing etc in the woods is quite different from just blocking up logs!

Obviously punky wood, so it really doesn't tell anything.

Haveing the 362 ported you already have is a good start. Then Your buddy will want more. He'll get a bigger saw & you do the same. Get the bigger one ported. You see where this is going.

    HEre's a vid of a MS362 I done.
