    Git R Dun Bar Recommendation

I've been lurking for some time. I have to say that the knowledge base of the members of this forum is enormous.

It seems that most of my questions and curiosities have been answered by using the search function.

I have been volunteering in clearing storm damage after some local disasters and also in New Orleans. Last month I helped clear tornado damaged trees around one of my co-worker's homes. I found that due to the size of the trees, it was necessary for me to make two cuts to buck a large number of the trees which were up to 30" in diameter. Mostly oak, elm and walnut.

I have a Jonsered 2071 with RS chain and 20" bar. It cuts very well with this combination but I feel that I might be able to get more done in a shorter amount of time with a longer bar and maybe a skip chain.

    Looking for recommendations.

You should be able to use a 28"/skip combination and realize satisfactory performance with your powerhead. Any major name bar should be able to meet your needs.

I like the 20inch also, but the 24 is not too off balanced.

As far as brands have at it.
