    Big Storm Hit Me

at 3:30 A wild microburst hit out city. Power is out everywhere. I have a generator so I will be fine. Trees down everywhere. I cut 25 trees just to get home from work. I am heading back out now to help out. The traffic lights are on the ground. It was powerful enough to move concrete pillars. I will be very busy in the next couple of days helping the city. Some of the houses have large trees that fell through them. Good thing I had my saws in the trunk of my car.

Yep, that was a good thing, the 361 with spare bar and several chains is riding shotgun in our car, just in case.........

Glad you made it through OK. We had some of major storms roll through this past week or so, crazy rain with major wind. Luckily nothing around here came down except for some smaller branches.

Where do you live HuskyDave? We just had an hour or so of garden variety thunder storm around 5pm - no big deal. Hope everything gets back to normal soon.

Radar shows quite a wall of storms heading in from the west. I figure it will be here in about 2 hours. Maybe we'll have some saw action tomorrow on account of it.

    Rep theft

Hey Sawinredneck, I think Chainsawjunky stole about 1,000,000,000 of your rep points.

Ya, but I think he'll have to cough them up. Lakeside already collared him over on the "jug" thread.

Man, Sorry to hear about you getting hit. My house got slammed by a tornado a little over a year ago. Lots of damage but luckily I had insurance and have it all repaired now. The damage that wind can do is unbelieveable, I was home when my house was hit and was unhurt thank God. I now take storm warnings seriously. Glad to hear that you did'nt get hurt and be careful out there, especially around those power lines! Matt
