Check your O-Ring on the cap.

Take it off the cap and clean it, check for cracks, replace it.
If Husky don't have one, Take the O-ring to a auto parts store and have them match it up.

Are you getting fuel out of there?

Use small fish hook,Cut the hook so you just have barbed area Push the point into the filter with forsceps and pull the filter out.
    Then unscrew the breather out.

I dont reccomend this unless you are getting fuel out of the breather.

A metal screw is nice to remove the air vent. But after removal, the center piece is mostly done.Usually though, this vent type always drip a bit by pressure created inside the tank.

Which way are you blowing the air?
Go from out side in. the vent is there so the tank does not cavitate.
No fuel fuel coming out sounds good.
Go back to your cap, check the surface where the o-rings sets.
you could be losing fuel because of paint chipping off, take some sand paper and sand the surface off.
Also check you fuel line for cracks.
also pull the fuel line out just a bit to make it move. that way you just made a new seat with the line to tank.
If you have not changed the line in a couple years. Go ahead and do so.
the new pig tail looking lines work. my as well change the filter at the same time.

    Manual,

Fuel leak from caps, i see it. My idea is that pressure come too high in the tanks and o-ring don't resist to that pressure. I will check for paint chipping but all is in plastic !

    Thanks

Hah, Sorry I was thinking to hard.
I'm looking at a 262 I just painted. that would be the oil cap.
your right gas cap screws into plastic. (dah)
still the o-ring is the seal, You could have a scratch that the o-ring is not getting a good.
I will measure the ring in the morning and pressure test my tank and see what happens.

    Good morning,
Here I am pressure testing a 262 gas tank.
As you can see I do not get more then 2psi 0f pressure and the tank vent is weeping air. Use dish soap and water on vent.

Now I have pluged off the tank vent and pressure tested the tank again checking for leaks at the fuel line.
Yes the line needs to be replaced. I was able to get just over 2psi (3)

    Yeah thanks,
Heres is the fuel line removed, as you can see, the tank cut into the housing.

Replaced the fuel line and no leaks. (Those little bubbles are from spraying soap and water around the new line)
