    Lakeside, are you swimming yet?

The roads are closed around your place due to flooding, hope things are OK for you. I have huge logs floating past my place, but I can't convince my buddy to paddle out in my canoe and hook a rope on to em, no guts I guess. All the rivers are over flood stage and still climbing, I hope all of you in the PNW are doing well.

There should be lots of work for you guys in WA and OR, winds on the Oregon coast were up 129MPH and around 100MPH on the WA coast.

I tried to take some pics but it was getting too dark, but I'll see if I can post em. I'm still moving stuff out of the way and may need to leave the house in a little while, so I'll post em when I can.

I left work at 12.30 It's a 8 mile trip home. Took me 29 miles and 2.5 hours... and I'm one of the lucky - I got home.

Freeways cut, roads swamped everywhere. My "dock" is 8 inches underwater, and it's still rising.

And now the wind is starting up.

Ya the news is winds in the nw are 120 mph, showing vids of Lakeside driving his truck through a lake. Then they start talking about a 45 mph winds here and finish by saying, soooo we don't have bad at all. They closed Six Ave today due to flying glass. Hell is rising. Time to party. The end is near.

Hope you guys don't have too much damage out there.

Some friends near Olympia, lost their BBQ joint . A creek went way over the banks and lifted it off of it's foundation. It was called Ranch hand's BBQ. It made the CNN Headline news.

Took me 2.5 hours to drive from Bangor to Bremerton (guess what I do for a living,) that's about 12 miles. Good friends stood and watched as their house slid into the river. They were lucky and got everything out. It's raining HARD right now in Quilcene. Water water everywhere, and no end in sight.

Pouring down raining here and the wind is starting up down the gorge. Had 18inches of snow on the ground sunday morning. Now only about 6inches left. Rivers are getting to flood stage. With all the snow that fell down here in the cascades were in trouble tomorrow with temps in the moutains reaching towards the fifty's.

Saturday we had 7-8 inches of snow. By Sunday morning it was gone, then we had 4 inches of rain here, 10 inches further south... Right now it's 57 degrees..
