    ZAMA rebuild?

    Little 021 going to need carb work,flooding out.Acres site says it has a Zama .Seems I've heard a few of you guys pretty much trashing them.Why?Should I find something else to fit it and if so what?

    Just rebuild it. Flooding is easy... inlet valve, metering lever height, loose galley covers... it's when they dry out and gum up you have problems.

    Don't blast compressed air though it... Light wash and reassemble.

    Nothing wrong with a Zama, I had one for years on a Jonsered.

    I just rebuilt a C2 on a homelite and its doin fine...
    New Husky 345 16in bar
    Old Homelite Super XL Automatic 18in bar
    McCulloch Pro Mac 10-10 20in bar (Just Rebuilt)
