    the wright chainless saw

Agood friend of mine sold chain saws from 1952 until 1985. He also repaired saws of all types .HIS thoughts of the wright saw was that if you like to be shook to death this was the saw for you. It could not be considered a serious contener to most chain saws. It was slow cutting and most people who bought these saws from him used them for cutting ice in the winter. They work great for that. He also remembered that when parts became hard to get people scrambled to get cutter bars. There were to two different styles of bars.

    Wright saws

During the 70s I worked as a bench mechanic. we were a service center for these beasts. Locally they were used for cutting meat by the local slaughter house. I have one of the Remington
    units in my collection.
I collect old 2 man saws. contact me if you have one forsale. Im really interested in the two cylinder models
or saws with Rotary or Diesel engines. The bigger the better. I hang them in my shop as art.
