    Understanding IPL's

    So a listing in the IPL reads:

    30 * 1128 350 5805 1 Tank Vent (09.97)

    What does the * signify?

    Is (09.97) the # and year of the tech bulletin that mentions the part?

    I'm trying to figure out what the hell was going on with the tank vent on 044's...
