Thread: Muffler Mod

After reading all of the good things you folks have to say about muffler modifications, I just ordered a modified muffler from Walkerssawshop.com in Canada for my MS 290. I didn't want to chance it and ruin my stock muffler b/c I'm clueless to this muffler mod stuff. It was $48.00 total (shipping included). I guess it's not 100% necessary, but it'll be cool! ! !

I'm glad you're learning a lot here, as all of us are. But we do have different forums for different topics. This forum is called 'Commercial Tree Care and Climbing'. We try to contain the topics to these categories. We have another forum called 'Chainsaws'. We discuss all types of chainsaw stuff on that forum. If we didn't keep topics in their appropriate forums, it would be much harder to search old topics.

Duhhhh! What was I thinkin'!?!?! I'm so used to clickin' on the climbers forum it didn't even cross my mind. Sorry Folks

Mike , Good decision and GREAT DEAL ! My local Husky dealer wants $56 for a new stock muffler , (no mods ) . No Thanks !
