I dropped a still 019t out of a tree last Friday. It looks ok, but when I start it the throttle is stuck on full. I took the handle apart and the side off the saw and can see the trigger move the throttle lever at the carberatur. When I put it back together it still runs full throttle. Any ideas about what I could try before I take it in to a saw shop would be appreciated.

Since the trigger is in the handle and the carb is in the saw housing, the problem is probably a binding of the linkage between the two. Check all the handle mounts. One or more are probably bent, holding the handle out of line and causing bind when assembled.

Thanks, I went and took a look. The rubber mounts fit into the molded plastic housing so there isn't anything to bend. I think the throttle cable is binding up somehow where it enters or winds through the case, is frustrating. I'll fiddle with it tomorrow some more.
