Power?? hmmm are we talking reasonable power or are we talking over the top ?? I'd go Dolmar 7900 but then there is the 066 and up saws that just scream " Put me back on a motorcycle you nut head " .

Need more power? Than it's time for a muffler mod. Next would be to port and mill.

Than if you find yourself still wanting more. Than look for a 90cc's saw. 394xp or 395xp is a good step up. Especially if it's modded.

I burn, but if I didn't I would still cut and love chainsaws. So to me burning wood is just an excuse, not a reason, to play with saws.
    Husqvarna, 372xp, 395xp both ported timing advanced muffler modded (100ll), 288xp, 3120xp. (100ll)
    Stihl, 084av, 070av (100ll), 044 (10mm)
Dolmar, 7900-timing advance air intake and muffler modded (100ll)
Poulan Pro, 330 ported muffler modded timing advanced no cylinder gasket (100ll)
    Homelite, Zip
    Mcculloch, 33

    Past saws Homelite super ez, Stihl 044 (10mm) x 2, 066 x 3 (1 alum, 2 poly fly wheel) MS880, Husky 385xp, 350,262xp,261,2100cd, Dolmar 143mx

Welcome to the site, Well you might as well trade that saw in for a new 3120XP and get it over with, for that matter just keep it and get the 3120XP you are going to need several saws soon anyway.

    Yes there's trees in kansas!

Unfortunetly im stuck on Husqvarnas. Every one around has to own Stihl. I just have to something different. Im a machinist by trade, but im not clear on what milling on a saw entails. Any thoughts on the big bore setups for the 371?

There is all kinds of hedge trees here. Awesome BTU's for burning.
