I have a demo 441 I picked up. I tried a search and checked the stihl website and can't find a spec on what the compression should be. Anyone know?

I imagine you'll want to be right around the 150 mark or so....

Anything less than 125-130 pounds cold would need a rering job, if you want it to run good. The more, the merrier

I was 150 warm so i'm good. I got this at husqvarna demo days from the husky rep who brought it to run against a 372 and 575. I just wanted to make sure because dropstarting it doesn't pull my shoulder out like my oldd 44's, and no I don't use the decomp valve.
That would likely translate to 160-165 cold.

Have a 201T that doesn't run like you expected? Need a new one that's already modded and ready to go? PM me for details.
Heres a new one I havent seen. I went to put an outside spike on the 441, because god for bid stihl would put one on an $800 stock saw, and the clutchcover has no holes predrilled and has not been premolded either. Is this a common cover or did the factory mess up?
My ms441 has the same cover.
