I do a little work with an air tool & compressor still. I cannot see using nitrogen tanks though.

Mile Mass and a couple other guys I know swear by their homemade air tools, drop him a line, he'll tell you how he made his.

Thumbs up Terravent - Rebirth this year!!

The Terravent machine went out of production in 2001 - A Consortium of environmentally minded businessmen have now finally taken the helm of this project and are aiming to launch the very much overdue MK2 Machine.

There will be an element of support for the old machines. For more information I suggest that a regular visit to the main Terravent web site for updates would be worthwhile. www.terravent.com

What I can tell you is there will be a very targeted number of machines sold each year and there is a very comprehensive support and business development package accompanying the machine that are sold.

This is all the information that I have at present, when I know more I will advise all.

    Thank you.

    OHH NO NOT A FRANCHISE..if it is then i won't be buying a unit/package

now if your selling the machines ,and spores etc ,plus your offering support and back-up then i will no doubt [price depending ] buy a machine/unit ..if this is not the route your going to be taking ,i'll search the states ,talk to engineers etc until i come up with a suitable machine

this product simply won't work ,if your going the franchise route , we Arborists are the best and most knowledgeable people who can use this product to it's full potential [not Joe public err who happens to think err you got a good money making idea i'll buy in],i already run a semi-successfull arb company ,i don't want to start running a franchise as well and won't ,neither will 99% of other arb company's be they contractors or consultants or both, and you can bet i won't be calling on a franchise owner either to use there terravent service,i like to keep all of my egg's in my basket

    Terravent - Not a franchise!

The info that I have is "Not a Franchise" and what is more, the operators will have to be dedicated and qualified Arborists (Certificated most certainly)

Terravent was at one time sold to anybody who wished to buy, sadly one or two machines clearly fell into the hands of people that were primarily driven by money and secondarily, driven BY MONEY.

Terravent in the wrong hands, like any tool, can be used to cause a negative effect. My understanding is, nearly all of the inquiries from potential customers of Terravention are expressing a concern that the future health of their trees is indeed in good hands. (Qualified and Certified Arborists and Certified operators of Terravent)

The new blood behind Terravent is more than aware of all the history and will be ensuring that the weaknesses that once hampered the further development, will not be an issue. (underfunded no longer). These gentlemen are not fools and appreciate trees and what they represent, I think we are in for one or two very pleasant surprises.
