    Rope splicing

    Trying to find someone to do some rope splicing for me...preferably in a the Memphis area. Any help out there ?

    I have some Blaze, Poison Ivy, and some 16 strand Pelican that i want tight eyes put on.

    i splice my own, but tight eyes are tricky and use a different splice than loose eyes. Give this guy a try;

    Hopefully they're new ropes - used rope can be really difficult to splice. I learned and practiced with used rope, so new rope seemed easy after that. Class 1 double braid tight eye splices are actually pretty easy once u get the hang of it. My first one took a couple hours, but i can do them in about 10 minutes now. I think bigger eyes are a little bit trickier because u need a way longer fid to get the cover back into the core all the way, but i use a snare to pull it thru now.
