    santas' on his way

Does anyone but me wonder why it is that no one thinks to give an arborist a usefull arborist tool instead of say--a pair of socks for Christmas? I recently got the Bailey's Christmas catalog and there are some things in there that I think would make great and usefull gifts from one arborist to another. There's the pferd chain sharpening tool, high grip gloves, pickeroons and a new item of interest--the sidekick (pg. 38). Do any of you guys have other sugestions for arborists gifts in the $10--$50 range? Santas' only 53 days away.

I have been known to leave it open with things circled and it worked.

I just tell her things like. Boy would I like to have this someday. I too point, circle, leave stickies, and just plain out say this would be a good idea.

I like leaving options, then they get to choose cost and I don't really know what will be in there.
