    Stump Grinding

Anybody even get hit with a cage when stumping? My boss was telling me about an experience with friends where he was stumping (obvisously a relatively young tree, maybe planted 10 years ago or less) and caught a cage. A peiece of the cage went through the side of the truck (3/8 steel). Just wondering if anybosy else has had similar experiences.

I've been hit by rocks, rebar, a small chair, and part of a tricycle once.

Grind some municipal stumps and you will be amazed at what comes out of the ground, old water and gas meter boxes, window weights, rebar, old shoes, still had the leather laces, broken sign posts, it all comes flying out.
