Hey all, long time lurker, first time poster.... this will be lengthy, so bear with me.
I am a hort. guy and I run my own small (read: me) landscape business.
I do primarily stone and brick work. I'm no Michael Dirr, but know a lot about plants and trees. I also know when to call in a pro....
That leads me to my question-- how would a guy go about finding a reputable arborist. I have a customer that wants some work done with two big oaks. Mainly limbing and dead wood stuff. I know what needs to be done, just don't have the equip. cojones, nor SKILL to do the job.
I want someone who is professional because I'm doing the referral for my customer. I'd prefer 'a guy' rather than a nationwide outfit.... But if the nationwide outfit is my best bet, I'm fine with that.
I'm in kansas city. Is there a web page for regional certified arborists? What do I look for? Etc.
Thanks for any and all help
