I just love my neighbors WildThinggy...

I love it when it starts smoking the bar and the chain keeps falling off, love it when it acts up in any way WildThinggies will, and the vocabulary he has for them!

And he hates it when he sees that it cracks me up!

He dose love to tell the story how he has 5 chainsaws all cost him under $100 dollars total.

so much for your application to Stihl camp:buttkick::hmm3grin2orange:

Even the Stihlheads will admit that the 009 is a turd. C'mon!

Also, Mac 110 and the little Homelite XL's/Super 2's. Those mostly cuz of the pesky 1 needle carbs that never seem to be happy and they are a pain to mount a bar and chain on.

Without a doubt, the Poulan/Craftsman :censored: with chrome pistons and plain aluminum cylinders are trash. Wait, isn't that a Wildthing in different colors?

This thread can't go without honorable mention of this saw.

I am seriously going to buy one of these just to put it through it's paces, see what it can and can't do, trash the limiters and mod the muffler. I think the cheesy plastic chain adjuster will be the first thing to break.

Nothing says cool like running 3/8 lo pro(ductivity) chain on a bar with flames on it.

The first time I decided to retire from timber falling a few years ago, I sold all my big saws. The only running saw I had left for the winter was an 009. It got five cords of wood in that year without complaining and was completely reliable.

Now I'm using a Poulan 2000 in the woodpile and it's one of the most reliable saws I've ever had. It starts on the third pull every time.

The poulan 2000 is okay but the oilier on it is a big piece of junk.

Omgggggg

There's so many... Husky 142 and 455 Rancher are the biggest pieces of junk I've ever put my hands on. I've used them both and omg. I'd rather have the flame Poulan or the Wild thing any day.

Is that the new husky?:yoyo:

my ex gf had/has a wildthing or some variant.

i could piss in the fuel tank and it would cut all day.

didn't like using it, but it 's a runner.

Nothing wrong mechanically with a Mac 610, but it raises the bar to unobtainable heights of ugliness.

The impulse oil pump is is pretty unreliable, but luckily they have a manual one,
yes it is ugly looks like a bessa block with a handle..
After making the sexy sleek Pro Mac 60 their design styling took a nose dive.
