A big factor to look at is whether the cylinder fins have any discoloration, which that one does not.

What I mean is they are sure popular here lately. Seems everyday there is a new thread or post to about an 064. Plus they command near as much as an 066 on Ebay.

I cannt believe what Parts 064 saws are going for. I was going to buy a parts saw from a local guy and look for another one on Ebay, but for seeing what they are going for I dont think so.

They deserve the popularity and premium pricing IMO. They have almost as much power as the 660/066, yet weigh significantly less... plus they can be upgraded to accept the larger 660/066 P&C or even the popular 660/066 BB kits should someone want the same power in the lighter packaging.

I absolutely love these saws (I have several of them), they might even be my favorite (most usable) Stihl ever made.

I was bidding on that 064 I gave up at $709. I did win another 064 last night for less then half the price, but it has been used in the real world.

You will like it. It's not as crazy as some may seem to pay that much for that saw. Look what a new 460 or 660 costs.
