Was told the new flip caps are redesigned. Has the breakage problem been fixed?

If they have been redesigned, will they fit the current style tanks? If they are in fact better, and do fit the current style tanks, that would be good news!

I can't really help here, but I bought a new flippy for my ms260 this week and the new one had a white body inside whereas the old one was black. Also, the new one was a very tight fit.

I sure hope they did, I also just bought 2 new flip caps.
When I installed the new cap it felt better but just thought
it was that it was new.

TT

They may or may not have redesigned the flippy caps but one thing is for sure... they haven't redesigned the people that use them.:laugh:

Howdy,
I think they might be knocking off the aftermarket ones. They work better than the OEM ones.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!

Somebody had to admit the design was junk and re-engineer it, and it ain't like anyone connected or addicted to Stihl, would ever admit thier better idea was flawed. It had to be the chineese knock off artists.

"Yao chen!! This thing is crap! It's as durable as an egg roll! We can't use that on our wood dragon MZ-362 saw, people will say it's chineese crap!
Make it work better!! :hmm3grin2orange:

Hundreds of millions of dollars dedicated to replacing a simple cork!!:hmm3grin2orange:

I hope the new design works out for them.:deadhorse:

Stay safe!

Cork?

That was what I was thinking of using in an emergency.
