I purchased a ms460 it is in the post, it was bought in the spring and never used been started twice once by the dealer and once by the owner. I have a few more days till it arrives. Looking for input on modifications i should do to it.
It has a 25" bar

Send it to Tree Monkey and have it ported and never look back. Money wiell spent:D

I just got mine back last week man oh man is it ever fun to run now.

If porting is not on your radar then look up muffler mod and trim limiters. MS460 will go down as one of the best saws they have made.

MM or put a dual port cover on it and open up the port on the right side as well but take the mufler of to do it
and pull the limiter caps on the carby

orrrrrr bugger it just send it to randy it will come back all angry you will love it :waaaht:

Not looking to send it out I have waited 2 years to buy this 460. Looking for bolt ons or things i can do. I have an 026 that i am going to port myself when it comes time for a rebuild. What do you think of the 3/4 wrap handles i would like to get one

i think i like them a lot lol

You will absolutely need an "R" front handle along with bigger dawgs. Those add ons are essential to "sideways balance" while in the cut. The saw will handle so much better, it'll feel smaller. For example, here are some cuts from both styles of saw handles.

Do they make a aftermarket 3/4 wrap handle and if so where do i get one and how much are they
