90 foot tall pear tree ?

I was sharping my chain in towns yard waste dump. Tree service guy comes over and tells me of a tree dropped & moved and upcoming jobs on large diameter trees. He has seen a couple logs I've milled live edge table tops from. He tells me about 5 - 6 foot long logs that are this diameter "holds arms somewhere between 3-4 foot diameter". I tend to find nice logs for milling in the dump or from people seeing me milling.
Butthe title gives it away I'm not sure I've ever seen or heard of before a pear tree that large. I mentioned cutting it for "shares". Around here a field of hay cut & baled has a third of the bales left in field while tractor operator gets two thirds. I bring this up tonite since snow is expected in a few hours and I may not be able to go see this tomorow or take pic's to post here. You all know way more'n me (-;

How are the pears going to get picked if the tree is that tall. I would think it would have to have some competition to get that high. Most stuff is spliced root stock and top stock that folks plant lately. I was approached with a half the hay offer. One year the guy put my half in the barn but now only does round.

One of my clients this year had two pear trees that were approximately 60'. That's as big as I've seen. Great form on them. Trunk diameter was less than 3' waist high.

thanks for that input. I'll get over to picture this one soon, but am not in favor of milling frozen logs if I don't have to(-;
