Is there any reason not to mill on a fiberglass ladder? Is it just that most folks come across aluminum ladders cheaper?

Thanks

Don't know of any reason, and yes aluminum ladders are a lot cheaper. I use uni strut sections.

I accumulate many bits of assorted tools at farm auctions. 32' AL extension ladder $70 since it is 6' longer than one gotten for $15. Or the 066 runner w/2 bars & 7 loops $320 :happybanana: Fiberglass of any length don't show up (yet)

Me too. I picked up a heavy duty 42' extension a couple years ago for $40. It's so heavy that the rope and pulley on it run through a 3 pulley block, Joe.

I'm not sure I understand. We use a Woodmizer LT40 and it's on a concrete slab. Don't need a ladder to get to it.
