Who's built one yet?

Sounds like a fun project for the winter... I've got no business with a saw that large... but I want one.

Might have to see if Santa will bring me one :spam:

If you ain't got one yet, why not?

(And post 070 and 090 pics!)

can the jug be replaced with a 90 unit on that 70 parts kit deal?

All parts on these two saws are interchangeable. The only differences are the piston/jug and the clutch. Both 090 clutch and piston/jug WILL go on the 070 kit, however when I spoke with baileys I was told that the 090 components will not be available until christmas.

I guess I am wrong I thought the crank and rod were beefer on the 090. Yes the 090 jug goes on but I believe the 070 crank is not the same as the 090.

Through the store - $60 an hour, no warranty.... and the time taken to decifer any the chinese<> english instructions are billed at the same rate. Hmmm.. if I charge you 8 hours on top of the $600 for the kit.. you could have a brand new 660 or a real nice used 880...

I still don't think it makes sense. I wouldn't spend $600 for a factory assembled chinese 070... If you really want one just buy a nice used saw, or.. for less money a rough one for a couple of hundered and fix it up.

Thanks Andy. BTW I don't want a Chinese knock off of a Stihl or anything else. I would love to have an 090, for what I don't know but that is another subject, but I want an original not a Chicom rip off.
