150 here if they pick it up. 225 delivered. I usually sell 1/3 cord 50.00 picked up. 75.00 delivered to town.....15 miles. Mostly elm

Full cord seasoned mixed hardwood $250-$275 delivered. Green around $175-$200. No one really sells softwood here(Upstate NY-Adirondaks) by the cord for heating.

Here in central NJ, and the easternmost part of central PA, a cord of seasoned mixed hardwoods is going for $190-$200 delivered. Pretty much everyone in the classifieds is in that range, though there is one guy selling "seasoned apple" for $225/cord.

I dont sell it or buy it but my buddy sells mixed hardwood (elm, locust, walnut, mullberry) depending on content of each at $85-125 a heaping pickup load delivered and stacked within roughly 15 miles.

I'm selling mixed hardwood (Oak, ash, maple, cherry, elm, etc) for $160 this year. Next year its going to be $180 though. Seasoned one year. Have 16 cords ready to go for next year. Have 3 more cords to split though. I'm in southern ny (Hudson Valley)

I'm average price here is St. Louis. I get $300 a cord (true cord 3 ranks of 16inch) delivered and stacked. I give away all my soft wood to friends and family. I get the soft stuff from tree trimming and can't really sell it. I buy about 30 cords a year for $120 a cord. I have to drive around 30 miles to get it. I haul 3 cords at a time home.

Man I wish you were closer to me(15 min north of albany) cuz that beats the prices up here..... I usually buy green but there always seems to be a reason i need an extra cord or two seasoned.

I sell seasoned hardwood for $140 per cord delivered and stacked directly out of truck or trailer. i charge extra if i can't get the trailer directly where they want the wood stacked and have to transport the wood by hand.

What is a cord of dry firewood going for in your area?

Here in northern California Doug Fur is $185, Tan Oak runs about $225, and Madrone $250.

:jawdrop:
Add about another $ 50-75 for the Santa Rosa wine country & ClearLake area. $400-500 for oak in the Bay Area. That is a dumped pricing

oak$300/cord split/dried/delivered within reasonable distance....out in the rural areas.
mixed (no oak) $225-250
face cords....$125oak.....$75-90 mixed.

You near Janesville? Have family there. Nice town....

Here in north east CT going rate is $160 for a full cord of mixed hardwoods cut, split, seasoned and dumped where you want it.

If you had to buy it.

I get 180/128cf cord 16" split delivered and dumped with a $per mile charge. 75%hard maple 20%soft maple 5%cherry,yellow birch. I have an area west of me people apparently don't sell any good wood in so I get alot of deliveries over there. They pay pretty good for the delivery plus usually tip me since they're happy to have somebody who can deliver dry firewood. Which brings me to another question-any of you guys ever set up a satellite wood yard in a different area? I could probably at least double my sales if I set one up in that area.
