Well, I have not been home for 8 weeks, so I finally got the collection together today. I currently have 20 saws and some other odds and ends. CAD is not that bad as long as you don't keep all of the saws; I will be ebaying at least 10 of them.

Some on the ground

At least four more there and tons of parts

Almost forgot about the ones in the rafters.

Sorry for being an enabler for your addiction. Hope the 032 meets your needs.

1. Denial 2. Anger resentment 3. Barganing 4. Depression 5. Acceptance. Don't worry we will um help you.

............and you're just admitting it now??

Nice collection.

I will ebay a lot of them but it seems everytime I get a new group of saws to repair and sell, I keep one or two. I started buying saws for fun in feburary 2007 and have bought and sold around 45, so CAD definitely has me in a chock hold.:)

If you can balance the buying and selling with the addiction you will be ok...LOLOLOLOLOL. Good luck.

I know, you guys are really not much help at all. More like a Bandaid. A bunch of Cure-Aids!!
:)

PS: I had one saw a year and a half ago.

I relate. A month and a half ago, I had two saws. Now multiply that by 6 or 7.
Go figure, Too many to list in a signature........... that's CAD. Oh well. A psychologist charges about $100 per hour. Once a week, that's 5 grand a year.
An hour spent cutting wood is more beneficial, and in the long run, costs less. And you still have your saw afterward.

PS Nice saws!:greenchainsaw:

It's a good thing we don't collect psychologists, at least at the moment. Think of all that money we've saved. I guess now I can afford another saw.

("No dear, I don't see a flaw in my logic!")

I wonder why I'm always in hot water.

Well done for teaching your saws to roost of an evening. :)

I've got it pretty bad, and I can't really blame this site entirely. I started with an 009 (it was my father's) about 20 years ago. Then I got an 046 about 10 years ago. Then it got pretty bad. A 200 that got stolen. An 024 replaced it. An 880, well, because I could. Oh, and an assortment of pole saws, hedgetrimmers and brush cutters. (FS550 - feed the need).

Then I found this place. 3 x 07s, 3 x 070s, 1 x 090 later, here I am. I'm sort of hankering after an 076, and lets face it, if I found another 070 for cheap, I'd have it in an instant.

On the positive side, I've learned a lot here. I've saved loads of money doing fixing myself - that I have promptly spent on tools to assist with the fixing.

CAD is great!

you are right on th track of hopeless

nice collection. sell all the non stihl sawz aand buy more stihls. then you will be in reall trouble. if you keep it up you may have too buy all the neighbors houses and build a saw museum in them :givebeer:
